S.T.R.S. is hiring a Workshop Craftsperson to join its production team in Rotterdam (NL).

Job Profile 
We are looking for an experienced, full-time Workshop Craftsperson who will be joining our Rotterdam-based Production Team. Our new colleague will have workshop experience and the skills to operate various tools and machines. We mostly work on one-off pieces and on multiple projects at the same time, so you will need strong problem-solving skills to optimise production and also strong organisational skills to manage the projects.

At S.T.R.S., you will be part of an international, talented team that focusses on the production of high-end design and art. A well-developed eye for detail and a good knowledge of English (speaking and understanding) are therefore indispensable.

Job Objective
Our clients provide us with designs/drawings that we then translate into a clear production plan. You will be setting up and executing these plans together with your team members.

Working with resin is our specialty, so you will receive in-house training. Afterwards, you will know exactly how to use this material. After casting, we further process the resin in our workshop, and you will process the raw castings into a final object. During production, you will be in contact with our clients and will work closely with your team members to develop the perfect end result.

S.T.R.S. not only specialises in working with resin but is also skilled in woodworking and metalworking.

Casting Specialist

S.T.R.S. is hiring a Casting Specialist to join its production team in Rotterdam (NL).

Job Profile
We are looking for a Casting Specialist who will be joining our Rotterdam-based Production Team. At S.T.R.S. you will be part of a skilled team that focusses on the production of high-end design and art pieces.

You will be working on several projects at the same time so you will need strong organisational skills to manage these projects. Since your position is highly specialised, you will receive in-house training to develop your knowledge and skills. It is certainly a pro if you have experience with the casting of resin.

You should be speaking and understanding English properly to communicate with your colleagues and our clients from all over the world.

Job Objective
Our clients provide us with designs, drawings and color references that we then translate to a clear production plan. You will be setting up a casting plan together with a colleague of the production team. You will make color-samples in preparation for the final casting and you will make the calculations for the casting and make the recipes. You will mix and cast the material and monitor it during the curing. S.T.R.S. works with multiple resins such as polyester, epoxy and PU. For each project we develop a unique color-mix so a good eye for color is much appreciated.
